Café Sorgenfri is Oslo's most maximalistic restaurant. Since the opening I 2003 it has been one of Oslo's busiest restaurants. Situated at the heart of Aker Brygge with 180 seats inside and 330 outside, summer is our best season. With both traditional Scandinavian cuisine and French the kitchen is an innovative work place. Our Danish lunch is famous, so is our uniqe aquavite menus. and summer BBQ. Café Sorgenfri is a place for everybody to celebrate life.
Are you the head chef and chef we are looking for?
Café Sorgenfri is about to enter a great spring and summer season. I 2010 we reconstructed the kitchen, adding a JOSPER grill. Entering the summer season last year we built an outdoor grill and Aquavite bar. This year we are taking it a step further, reconstructing parts of the restaurant inside to fit a classic danish sandwich outlet to make the concept more complete.
Our head chef is moving and we are looking for his replacement to bring the restaurant and concept to the next level.. In addition, to meet the upcoming season we are looking for chefs with different backgrounds and skills.
