Duties: The successful applicant will form part of a specialist team which is tasked with ensuring that the company’s production lines remain operational at all times and run at maximum capacity. The factory’s requirement for uptime on its production equipment requires us to stay ahead in terms of preventive maintenance and to systematically develop specialist expertise in all areas. An important aspect of the position will be to contribute to the improvement and further development of existing equipment, and to provide support for projects concerning investments in new machinery or lines. Our production equipment is supplied by a leading global supplier to our industry. All our employees must undergo the group’s hygiene and HSE training programme.

Qualifications: Certificate of apprenticeship/training within an automation-related subject. Applicants with a mechanical background may be considered if their previous work experience can document the desired qualifications.

We are seeking a person who is: Positive, goal-oriented, innovative, reliable, responsible and cooperative. Applicants must have good oral and written skills in a Scandinavian language.

We can offer: A gross salary of around NOK 225 per hour (with over ten years’ experience within the field). Payments for antisocial working hours will be made in addition to this. Good working environment. Competent employees. Good development opportunities. Good pension and insurance schemes.

Other: The company may be able to provide assistance in finding accommodation. Typical costs for lodgings are between NOK 6,000 and 10,000 per month. The company may also be able to provide assistance if you are moving with your family.

Working time arrangements: Shifts/rotation, permanent full-time. We have two shift patterns/rotations – The “Three-shift rotation system” (Week 1: 06.00 – 14.00, week 2: 07.00 – 15.00, week 3: 14.45 – 22.21) and “Fixed afternoons/evenings” (14.45 – 22.21).
