About the company: Stalheim Hotel is a fine family hotel in a spectacular location that has thrilled and enthralled artists and travellers for nearly 2 centuries. Located in the middle of Western Norway’s fjord district, 12 km from the Sognefjord and 160 km east of Bergen (2 hours drive). Stalheim is a perfect base for exploring the fjords and mountains of Western Norway, on feet, by car, by train and by boat. Stalheim is one of the highlights on the “Norway in a Nutshell” roundtrip and is easy accessible with publics transportation, both from Oslo and from Bergen. We have 124 guest rooms, 2 restaurants, bar and panorama lounge.
Information about the position: We are looking for chefs (Chef de Partie and Commis Chefs) for fulltime seasonal work (season is from Mai to September – whole season or part of the season).
Position demands: It is required that the applicant has a good knowledge of English. Applicants with experience from hotel and restaurant work will be preferred
Wages: NOK 21 000 – 23 500 (app EURO 2 600) gross pr. month, depending on experience and qualifications.
Housing: The hotel has staff rooms available on premises at a cost of NOK 800 pr. month. Board (3 meals a day) is app NOK 2400 pr. month.
