Seeking Application Consultant
On behalf of a Danish company Workindenmark (www.workindenmark.dk) is looking for an Application Consultant.
The company delivers a unique billing and customer care software platform to service providers within the global Telco industry. Since their establishment in 2002 they have experienced great success with their market-leading solution. Today they are 140 employees with 30 different nationalities servicing customers around the world.
As their dynamic business continues to grow and evolve the company are looking for a talented Application Consultant who enjoys customer contact.
About the Role
As their new Application Consultant you will join a Customer Team, which improves and maintains the company’s billing solution for specific customers. The overall purpose of the position is to provide customers with high-quality support on a daily basis.
The company is looking for a business-oriented person with technical expertise and problem solving talent. A successful Application Consultant uses their analytical skills to convert the customers’ business requirements into technical specifications.
Application Consultants are customer contact points, so you will need to provide professional support through communication, determination and problem solving. Your job will be to analyze, configure, and document technical issues related to customer solutions and also to identify the right solution. You will advise the company’s customers on operational issues and troubleshooting, either through configuring customizations yourself or through driving the programming process with their software development team.
- Strong SQL database query skills.
- Experience with Java, Servlets, JUnit and SQL.
- Business experience in telecommunications, finance or CRM solutions.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Educational background in computer science, data processing, engineering or IT.
- English languages skills, both written and spoken.
- Customer-support experience.
- Excellent business insight.
- Outgoing approach.
- Great communications skills.
- Proactive team player.
- Good at prioritizing and managing own tasks.
