Mobile Application Developer
If you are a mobile application software developer with a keen interest in the latest trends in technology. Working in the Applications Group you will develop our applications for smartphones and tablets. This is your opportunity to make a difference. The Applications Group develops Reference Designs, Demo Designs and Development Kits (from conception to finished product) using our RF chips. We work with the latest in hardware and software development, and create state-of-the-art RF applications like wireless mouse, keyboard and remote control. We work closely with customers and international partners to create the best development tools and reference designs for wireless micro-controllers.
We are looking for both newly qualified and experienced software developers focused on the host side (Bluetooth Smart Ready devices) application development for our Bluetooth low energy effort. You will develop simple solutions to go with our Reference- and Demo designs, assist our technical support team and bring the perspective of the ?application? to our Bluetooth low energy projects. You will know ?everything? about developing GATT (Generic Attribute Profile) based applications on the key OS platforms (Windows Phone, iOS, Android) we want to support.
-M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar, or B.Sc. with relevant experience
-Experience in some, or all, of these areas: *Native mobile application development on: iOS Windows Phone Android Java and C# NFC (Near Field Communication) Bluetooth and/or Bluetooth low energy Software architecture, design, development and testing
-Continuous integration development
-Good English communication skills (Norwegian is not required)
-Ability to take the point of view of the customer, integrator and end-customer
-Ability to drive a number of smaller projects concurrently
-Ability to work independently or as part of a small team
-Ability to identify and acquire the necessary assistance from other departments
-Develop GATT based applications on key OS platforms for our
-Reference and Demo designs
-Focus on the communication part of the design
-Maintain development platforms for key OS that we want to support
-Assist the technical support team with training and technical assistance
-Maintain a close relationship with the SDK and tool
-Interface to OS vendors
