The Brønnøysund Register Centre is an administrative agency responsible for a number of national control and registration schemes for Norwegian business and industry. The Brønnøysund Register Centre performs an important task by coordinating the reporting obligations of business and industry. The aim is to prevent superfluous collection and registration of information, which will especially alleviate the workload for small and medium-sized businesses. Sophisticated computer and information technology enables speedy registration and updating of all information in the registers, and allows rapid retrieval of information to answer enquiries. The IT department is responsible for the development, management and maintenance of the information management systems at the Brønnøysund Register Centre. In addition, we offer support for internal and external users. The IT department has 52 employees.
- have minimum 3 years IT education at college or university level
- are good at identifying and solving problems
- are good at documenting your work
- have good communication and cooperation skills
- have relevant knowledge of system development methodology
and would like to:
- be a part of one of the biggest IT milieus in northern Norway
- work with the development and maintenance of data processing and information management systems

If you have relevant knowledge within the field of system development and appreciate a creative work environment you should come and work with us. A certain understanding of our central development tools is naturally a plus, but not a requirement for this job. Relevant and documented work experience may, to a certain degree, compensate for any lack of formal education.
The salary for this position will be awarded based on expertise and experience, and in accordance with the Norwegian government pay scale levels 42-64 (NOK 336 500 - 496 300 a year). A higher salary will be considered if the applicant is especially qualified. The vacant position is in the IT department.
