The unemployment in November 2011 was 7,1% or in average 11.348, which is 430 more than in October 2011 with 6,8%, but down from 7,7% in November 2010.

The unemployment in October 2011 was 6,8% or in average10.918 unemployed which is 159 more than September 2011 with 6,6%.

The unemployment in September 2011 was 6,6% or in average10.759 unemployed which is 535 fewer unemployed than in August 2011 with 6,7%.

The Directorate of Labour and EURES IS host a European Job fair in Reykjavik City Hall on the following dates: Friday 14th October 17:00 – 20:00 and Saturday 15th October 12:00 – 18:00.

The unemployment in August 2011 was 6,7% or in average 11.294 or 129 fewer than in July 2011 with 6,6%.  Due to seasonal adjustment in labour supply of labour the percentage increased by 0,1 percent point.

The unemployment in July 2011 was 6,6% or in average 11.423 or 281 fewer than in June 2011 with 6,7% and 11.704 unemployed.

The unemployment (not sesaonally adjusted) in May 2011 was 7,4% or in average 12.553 or709 fewer than in April 2011 with 8,1% unemployment.

The unemployment in April 2011 was 8,1% or in average 13.262 or 495 fewer unemployed than in March 2011 with 8,6% unemployment.

The unemployment in March 2011 was 8,6% or in average 13.757, which is slightly down from 13.772 in February 2011 and down from 9,3% in March 2010.
