Fosshotel school

The academic program at Fosshotel school is registered and accredited by the Education and training service center ehf in Iceland. The program consists of equal academic (classroom) study and practical training. The students will start each day with practical training in the reception, housekeeping or preparing breakfast or lunch. After the lunch break it is time for the classroom.

While training and studying at Fosshotel school the students will live and work at Fosshotel Reykholt. Students will follow practical lessons in the hotel to learn from and experience actual situations and how to solve problems.

This three month program is designed in a manner that aims to develop students as quality employees that can deliver “Five Star” service, using creativity and innovation. Service and housekeeping is critical to the success of today´s hospitality operations.

After successful completion of the three month course and three month work the students will receive a Diploma from Fosshotel school that is accredited by collages in Iceland.

The teaching staff of the school is a mix of experienced hotel managers that are working at Fosshotel and certified trainers from the hospitality industry that will teach and train students. They share an international outlook and interest in educating for a successful future.

Your management team will inform you how you can learn, grow and develop a rewarding career with Fosshotel. Your experience at Fosshotel will be a great asset in your future career pursuits.
The skill and co-ordination required to do the job well and correctly can be learned. Be patient. In a short time with training and practice you too can be an expert.
